Ok well I thought it was easy. I was able to easily separate the outer shell on the rear bushing but I totally boogered up one of them trying to get the rest of it off. Any tips from those that have done it already? If I could find a plate thin enough I could use the press. The arbor plates are too thick to fit on the small lip of the inner sleeve of the bushing.

I do an initial clean, then Evapo-Rust to get rust and corrosion off, then clean with a degreaser and then lastly the metal ready which gets the last of the rust and leaves a zinc oxide coating which enhances the bonding of the Por-15 which is already crazy to begin with. Just finished 2 coats of the Por-15 on the spindles and waiting to do the 3rd and final coat.

For Fronts: Lube them up real good and a press + a small chunk of 2x4( MAKE SURE When you are pressing the bushing doesnt wobble to one side or the other must go in even or it will be jacked up)

For Rear: clean out holes of old collars with sand paper or a dremel once again (MAKE SURE when you pres in its going evenly if you see the control arm starting to bend STOP! and readjust)

Guess the rain is about to make to my house. And of course the crews working on the roads just came through my street and decided to screw it up and won't be back until Monday/Tuesday to continue :(

The rain made it real nice to work in the garage with the door open today! It was nice and cool in there and the wind was blowing the right way so that no rain came in through the door. I got my spare motor all taken apart today and it looks beautiful inside! I'm excited to start raking in money from my collection of summer jobs I have lined up so I can start building this beast.
