Anyone have experience adjusting the valves on a duratec? The intake valve on my #1 cylinder is slapping the cam. I believe the way it's done is you measure the gap between the backside of the cam lobe and the bucket, and then replace the bucket with one of the correct thickness

I'm not that engine savvy...yet.

Woohoo! Installed my new headlights and they look sweet. Only problem is the hyper blink in the turn signals due to the reduced load of the LEDs. I'll have to order an LED load module to fix. Now on to paint, polish, and wax for Sunday.

Where are we meeting at? We're putting the car seats in the fofo and bringing the kids up too. Gotta start 'em young.

Since it's my daily driver it seems like it would be a two-stage job.
Stage 1: Measure the gaps, pull the cams, pull the buckets, find the current bucket thicknesses, calculate the correct thicknesses, order the correct buckets

Put the car back together and wait for the parts

Stage 2: Pull the cams again and install the new buckets in the correct places, put everything back together again. Fun.
I should probably replace the cam bolts at this point too since they've already been out once before when I put he Cranes in

Ooh. Coming from Monterey I'd have to get the kids up at 6am to leave at 7. What time will yall be leaving Treasure Island and is there a rough timeline of the days events? I may show up late or not bring the family.
