Northern CA FocusFest Caravan

The southwest caravan members may be joining the southern team to form a larger caravan.

Here are two proposed routes, one basically bypasses the southwestern/southern caravan team and the other joins. There are about 120 miles difference between the two. For those attending, please share your thoughts if you guys are interested in joining the larger caravan. Southwest Caravan Poll & Discussions

Route A:
(1,895 mi – about 1 day 4 hours)

Route B:
(2,028 mi – about 1 day 7 hours)

I wont be going, but the drive through flagstaff is a whole lot nicer. Although the possibility of snow exist this time of year.

Or skip the leg down through LA; start heading east through Bakersfield along the 40 and rendezvous with the so cal/AZ gang in Flagstaff.
I've done the Nor*Cal - ATL drive with my brother in 2 1/2 days via the 40. So just over 24 hours of drive time from Nor*Cal to Arkansas seems about right. Do 8 hours the first day from Nor*Cal to Flagstaff then bomb out REAL early the next day and touch down in Arkansas later that night.

The Socal group actually has a possible new route so they can meet up with more people along the way

I'll probably go that way if they decide to. I would drive down to LA the day before they leave and head out with them

Its so far to drive. Why can't we have a westcoat meet????? anyone??!? I bet Cali has more foci drivers then the whole east coast does. I would like to go, but I don't know if I could make it that far. I think taking route 40 makes the most sense, just my 2 cents.
