What kind of gas milage is AZ getting?

I just filled up at the pump today. The trip odometer was at 323.0 and it took 11.603 gallons to fill up. If i'm doing the math right, I got 27.8 miles/gallon out of my SVT. (Miles per tank / gallons to fill up = miles per gallon) This was after an oil change with Castrol Syntec. Before, i was lucky to get 280 miles a tank out of it. This is the first oil change since I got the SVT about 3500 miles ago.

I get about 27-29 miles per gallon out of my ZX3 that has 118K+ miles on it. I use Castrol Syntec on this as well.

So I got to thinking, what kind of gas mileage are you getting here in AZ and what kind of oil do you run?

(also, if someone can check my math on the miles per gallon equation. i want to make sure I am not fooling myself)

I'm anywhere from 25-30. Litterally anywhere in there. Sometimes I get over 300 miles per tank, but around 280 or so... I have a heavy foot and a rack on top that I'm sure is cutting into my mileage. I use the Q-horsepower sythetic since I bought it last year. Other than slowing down (not going to happen) what else can I do to increase mileage?

Tires...what should I keep my pressure at? I have the proxis 4 tires. I was told by someone to keep it at the recommended pressure on the fuel cap (34?) but the tires say 40-50. I normally keep it at 40-45 depeding on the heat and travel.

What do you think?

they should be around 35-38 if you want a harder tire.

Depends on how I'm driving, which for work is usually pretty mild, but normally I'm getting anywhere from 27-32mpg, which is a fair mix of city highways, and stop and go freeway driving.
Currently, my upstream O2 sensor is messed up, and gas milage is in the low 20's
