Post this in Ford Focus Technical Chat or Zetec Performance Chat, but this time fix it so that we can understand what you meant please.

I'm going to guess that you drove through some water, and the engine died- or nearly died. I'm going to assume that modeling is idling, so now it's idling high. Ok, so IMO, there are several things you need to do- actually 3 things.

1) Check PCV vacuum line, make sure it is still attached, and check all other vacuum lines.
2) Remove and clean MAF with spray MAF cleaner. One can goes a long way, and it works on all cars.
3) Remove Idle Air Control valve, and clean with carb cleaner. Use a Q-tip to make sure the plunger shaft is clean. Look for damage around the plunger- if it looks like the rubber head is damaged so that it won't seal- replace. It's about $45 IIRC.
4) If you disconnected your battery, remember you must allow the engine to idle for 6-7 minutes (5 mins after it drops out of open loop/cold start) in order for the PCM to recalibrate the Air/Fuel ratio. During this time the idle will be high- around 1k rpm. If you touch the accelerator, it resets the test. Once the test is finished, the idle will drop to normal, around 700 rpm. Keep that in mind if you lost power, or disconnected the battery.

Sorry about the message I typed it on my phone so most of the errors. I have fixed the problem thank you though. It was the throttle position censor, it got water it. I also cut the the lower tube in half on the intake so the filter isn't as low.
