Who want to make soem money in Knoxville

Ok my problem is this. I have a set of Glowshift guages. A/F wide band and TAch. I had a friend who was helping me to install them because all this electric stuff is a black magic to me. But now because os his family problems he cant help me any more so I end up with tach that just glow but dont work and A/F gauge that need to be rewired because the way it is done now acts really crazy. Gauges are already install in a pod they just need to be connect. Also for the tah I have a tach-adapter that needs to be install by cutting in to the harness.

So if any one is interested send me a PM and name your price, or just respond in this thread.

you want me to tell you how to hook it up and then you can paypal me some money? ahahaha. or i could cock-block everyone and tell you there is a blue wire with a white strip on the driver side shock tower under your hood thats all by itself. its the tachometer signal wire.

enjoy :)

take yourself out to dinner.

yeah it looks like a rectangular 1 pin plug but its got 2 slots for 2 pins if that makes sense. its usually on a metal bracket thats screwed into the shock tower. I did it on my 01 ZX3 when I had one.

You don't even have to cut the wire. Grab some pliers, pull the pin out, wrap new wire around it, push pin back in, run wire to tach. and bam. done.

you gotta start somewhere.

Ok so what I read is that you can't connect tach without a tach adapter because it will be giving you a wrong readouts. Even Glowshift is teling me to install a tach adapter to get a correct readouts. So what is a real story with that ?

who knows. they would probably tell you a narrowband AFR gauge would be a sufficient way of reading your ratios lol lol

I would do it for free, but I'm extremely busy. If I get any contracts down in Knoxville I'll give you a holler, until then. I can't. Sorry. And a side note. 05+ have to have a tach driver. Unlike pre 05 they don't have a pin you connect to.
