1.0 Ecoboost to a 2.0 ecoboost swap?

Just got my 1.0 ecoboost and its great on mileage but not on horsepower. Its just a little too slow and I was wondering if it was even possible to swap out the engine and Ecu with an St motor/trans/ecu? it is a Sedan as well so I don't know how all that works really. I don't know why the St isn't made in the four door sedan, the one I have looks very sporty and I have no complaints with the way it looks. I just couldn't afford the St at the time. Maybe I should just save up some money and trade it in later?

The 2.0 ecoboost swap has been talked about alot, with no definite answer. Likely you would need an entire donor car for the swap. Electronics in newer vehicles make things difficult. It would be pricey and time consuming so most people will just say to buy an ST.

A better solution would be to drive your car for a year and trade it on an ST.

Older thread, news on the completed ST swap was just becoming common knowledge then. More recent thread here:Ecoboost transplant??

It can be done, but doesn't make much sense with a new car as the OP posted.

Let me know if you do the swap cause I WANT a 1.0 ecoboost and I'll buy yours!
