Newer Model Engine Into 2005

Anybody know if any later model Duratec engines will be a direct "bolt in" swap into a 2005 with 2.0 and automatic ? Thanks

Ti-VCT came somewhere between 2011 and 2012 (model year 2012 I believe.) So that and newer definitely not. Not unles you consider swapping the computer and the wiring harness to be a 'bolt in'.

Grab the pcm, so you can use the 23's dual stage intake. While your there throw a tune at it also. The code for the tune is on a sticker on the pcm

I heard Tom can make a tune to use with your existing 2.0 computer. Although, I am unsure about the dual runner situation. What is involved with a pcm swap? Just plug it in?

Tom probaby could reflash your 20 pcm for use w/ a 23 & a cossie manifold or copy cat one.For the 23 manifold, you'd need to get the imtv going, I'm not sure if you could delete the imrc= tumble flaps & hook up the imtv instead, using your 20 pcm. That'd be great if you could. Then all you'd need is a 23 escape manifold.
