SOHC to DOHC 2002

Greetings everyone, I'm in a bad situation with this car and I'd love to have it up and running. A few months back something horrible wrought its way into the motor and parts of the piston are now laying in the oil pan. Needless to say my first reaction was to straight swap a SOHC for SOHC and go on with my day. Dad being the mechanic (though not computer savvy) one of us thought we should upgrade to a DOHC motor and has left me in charge of finding everything that needs swapped. He's specifically asking for part numbers.

I've currently got a list running of the parts we will need for a barebones swap. This is how I understand it, but please correct me if I'm wrong on this, I fear his patience for this vehicle is running out!

Passenger motor mount

engine harness ((part no. 12A581 per some clarification is needed on this as it is the same part number between DOHC and SOHC motors, though many users on this forum say that you have to use the DOHC harness) Dad would also like to know the harnesses are different, if they can be cut and swapped at the firewall, with correct pinouts of course

ECU that was paired with the donor motor (this cannot be circumvented, and keys will need to be reprogrammed unless the already paired keys can be had)
Possible exhaust work?

I know I'm probably missing a few things, but that's why I'm turning to you geniuses.

Thank you all.

AFAIK, Pats and the lock cylinder don't need to be changed... But I may be wrong.
