Engine Swap Simple Help needed

I have a 2003 Ford Focus 2.0 Vin P, that I'm working on.

After researching I cant find a used cheap engine anywhere.

So I want to know if a escort with the 2.0 Vin P engine will work with the 2003 focus vin p.

From what I have found I will need to use the focus 2.0 head on the escort block. Is that it? Any help is appreciated.

Anyone know what year escort will work with out a hitch?

Thank you pretty good site, but Im looking to do this cheap. I can pull engine from the junk yard for 250 just have to find one. And that leads me to the possible use of a escort engine. I can get a escort engine for 250 no problems just cant get one for ford focus. Without spending 800-1800

No the escort wont work

I spent about 30 sec and came up with a 450.00 low mile used or 1000.00 for a NEW from Ford
