Engine Swap Drag racing build

Hi there folks.Which is the best engine/transmision swap for my 2002 ZX3 focus?
I want to build it for drag racing and i cant decide which engine is best. It's going to be a turbocharged application for sure, and custom built from scratch. Is the 2.3 DURATEC engine the best for this situation? Please help.

The question is what time pass are you looking for????
Do you have power and rpm goal at all????

Some people well say turbo and auto go hand in hand with each other.

I hope you have a big wallet.

I'm in the middle of building a drag Focus and I am getting the right help this time to make it happen, I can PM you who to get in touch with.

I would use a 2.3L duratec

The 2.3 Duratec would be a great starting point but if you have Zetec now you will need a complete wiring change down to the ECU , If your going Duratec 2.3 or the new 2.5 then I would find a duratec focus and start there and with a ATX Trans

570 wont be hard to get to with the 2.3 Duratec

I have a zetec-se 1.6 zx3 2002 model focus.I dont care so much about the wiring loom as it will be custom built by myself because i 'll change the car's engine management system with a standalone ecu from DTAFAST.The only concern i have is the engine mounts ,engine position and any clearance issues.Im going to mod this car because i have already spend some money on it and don't want to buy another one.:P
