Quaife Differential and 4.25 gear set.

This is also for sale now . Here is the link. Brand New Quaife 4.25 Ring Gear and Gear set. OK I also have this in my turbo build in the FI section, But it got overlooked . So I thought i would try here. I picked up a new Zero Miles MTX from a Duratec. I have found out that you can swap the whole gearset into The Zetec tranny housing. The Input, output and Diff all have to be shimmed correctly. The only difference is the reverse gear idler. Any ways. I took both transmissions apart to swap over all the races and spacers. I found out that the tranny I bought has a Quaife diff and full gearset in it. And it is all brand new , no marks on any thing. It was assembled into the D tec cases , and the guy crashed his Focus before it could be installed. So I contacted Terry Haines, the trans is going up to his shop this week for assembly. Now I live in Miami Beach Florida. My question is. How bad is this gonna be with a 4.25 gear ratio on a turbo street car. I only drive around 13 miles to work, very short distance on the freeway. The original gears that came out of the Zetec were 3.82 according to the ring gear having 65 teeth and the pinion having 17 teeth. Now back in the day I drove a 70 1/2 Camaro Z28 that had 4.10 gears in it. But that was a V 8. Is this even worth it or should I sell the gearset and go with the original gears and just have Terry rebuild my old MTX ? I know this is long winded, but you needed some back round. Here are some pics.

I think the 4.25 will be a little much with turbo, I had the 4.06 in mine before I went to the ATX

Tom, a little much as in , wheel spin through 5th gear. I know I wish it was 4.06 or even 3.82 . So what should I do. ?
Sure would like a bullet proof trans. Seems the only way with Quaife to change final ratio is to buy new shaft and matching ring gear. Another 600 bucks. You still have the 4.06 ?
