Obliterated the input shaft, need to Beef up the tranny

Howdy, I just obliterated my 5 speed in my 05 Cosworth 2.3L ZX5. It's currently producing 341wHp/312tq@12psi. Anyone know what could be done to beef it up for the 28psi that I will be running? I'm thinking it'll be close to 500wheel... And it shattered the input shaft at 340... Any help would be appreciated! I also run a cuafe lsd(or however you spell that).

Stop doing clutch drops? The MTX-75 is pretty beefy, not sure if they make a billet input shaft or not. This is really the first time I've heard of someone obliterating the input shaft. Typically the diff goes since it is the weakest part in the tranny, but being that you swapped that out with a LSD it seems like you found the next weakest part lol

I should qualify that it makes almost 445 and 510 with sae corrections on a dynojet. But being a dyno jet I dont believe shit it says... Does anyone know of a billet shaft? That is waht i came here for not being told I'm stupid and dont know how to drive. It broke at about 6k rpm in a pull in 4th cause thats where I get solid traction.

Don't feel stupid, I broken my tranny before and I'm in n/a form. Broke it on the 2nd to 3rd up shift though I'm sure it was only cause something let go on the launch. High wheel speed with instant traction in any gear will make for the same kind of stress.

rippin mounts lol

Sounds like driver error, I've got 50 or so 1.7 60ft passes on a 80k miles trans all it has is a torsen diff. all passes have been on a 24.5x8x1 slick. I daily drive on a 26in drag radial. I've sense replaced the trans cause the 3rd gear syncro went out but thats been the only problem. check my sig for who numbers
