What should I do with my 06 Focus?

So I 've had my 06 focus zx 5 for a while and I love it and I am dieing to mod it BUT I hate how it is an auto. I really wanted a manual but I really needed a car so I was kinda forced to settle on the first nice focus I found and that first nice focus was an auto =/. I still love her to death but driving auto is kind of boring especially in an ATX because it is only 4 speeds and has no tip tronic feature. So what do you guys think I should do? Build an auto focus? Swap in an mtx? Or maybe if it is possible to swap in another auto trans that has a tip tronic feature although I cant think of any that ford makes besides the ones on the 08 and up mazda and I heard those wont work?

There's no "tiptronic" transmission for Focus.
The 2012+ Focus has a dual clutch automatic, but you wouldn't be able to use that.

a MTX swap wouldn't be too difficult, but you would need to source all the parts before hand, including ECU, gauge cluster, pedals, cables, transmission, etc.

You could try to find another ZX5 in a 5spd and instead of spending money on a swap, just pay the difference and trade for the manual. Might even be cheaper that way.

yea I have been on the hunt for a nice 5 speed focus the only problem is it seems all the 5 speeds seem to be zx3's and I prefer the zx5.
