Need chronological listing of engine or trans swap steps

I'm looking in the local classifieds because I need a focus for my son to go off to college. There are 4 within driving distance that have engine problems, and another that has an auto trans on its way out. I've looked in depth for a chronological listing of steps inolved in swapping the engine or trans, but can't seem to find it anywhere in the forums. I assume the trans swap would be the easier of the two. Can someone guide me to where I might find the list I seek. Replacement engines are readily available on ebay, and my local pick a part has at least 7 foci of various years to scavenge. An auto trans is only about $100 bucks, so my dream of a low buck decent car is not too far fetched. Most of those that need an engine are for sale for 700 to 1000 bucks, so with sweat equity, new tires or other needed items, the car could be on the road and good to go for about $1500. Any info you can provide on the process of removal would be appreciated. I've done engine/trans swaps before on rear wheel drive cars, but never front wheel....thus my need for the correct sequence of steps.

thanks...
