v8 rwd question

Is there a how to on this? I know I will be needing to get brackets and what not from Kugel. But is there a how to guide on this like from begining to end covering anything and everything you need to do?
I am fairly new to focus modding I have had the focus as a dd for about 3 years now at which time I was working on my other car, a 98 neon that I have completed a full SRT4 swap including interior and all wiring, and now I want to take on a new challange.
I know that I and many others have a detailed write up for the first gen neon to SRT and was wondering is there one like this for the focus? As this is also my d/d I would like to be sure I have at least 95% of all parts I will need begining to end so I can have it done within a week time from start to finish.
Thanks everyone!

swapping a srt4 engine into a neon would be about like swapping a svt motor into a zetec car. they basically bolt up compared to swapping a v8 into a focus. there are no write ups on how to install a v8 and swap to rwd because if you have to ask you probably can't or shouldn't do it

You won't do your first V8 swop in a week, or even a month.

To my knowledge no-one has written a detailed account and full list of parts, no 2 are identical.

If you need to complete it quickly, you have a lot of decisions to make before hand and then stick to them.

Manual / auto
5.0 / 4.6/ 5.4
Carb or injection
Wheels.
Who's going to fab the exhaust.
Rear end gear ratio.
Solid or flexible fuel lines.
Engine wiring.

The list goes on.

There is a very basic how to on here;

I was asking mostly to take a look at how others have done. I know focusfanatics.com is prob like most other forums, I have a low post count so Im looked at as a noob who when asking a question about a advance project Im looked down on and Im ok with that. However, do not underestimate my ability or knowledge.
I figured I would get the kit itself from here http://www.kugelkomponents.com/focus/focus.html and then get a foxbody mustang gt that already has a 351w in it to make the swap that much easier. But like I said I am looking more into how others have done it.
Thank you tho for the standand negative attitude, was just looking for more of a project log then a "hold my hand" guide.

Thank you very much. I wont be starting this until about late spring- mid summer time so Im just getting my info and have a full out plan before tearing into it. Also the car isnt my only one so if it takes longer then a week of dedicatted sun rise to sun set work its not a huge deal.

didn't mean to have a negative attitude. you just have no idea how many threads like this are started and how few people actual do any thing. but fwiw the zetec will easily make over 500hp with a lot less work than a v8. so unless your going for a lot of power or are doing the swap just b/c i wouldnt do it.

belive me I def understand I cant tell you how many how do I do a SRT swap thread starts up on the neon forums. So I am there with you. Right now Im looking at doing it just as a "prove a girl can do it" thing same basic reason for the inital srt swap to the neon. However, I have also been doing a lot of reading up on the 351w and def would be intrested in "beefing it up" once I had the swap all in perfect order. Just something about taking cars that noone thinks are or can be fast just ammuses me, kinda like my own version of a sleeper, and with a girl behind the wheel it just makes the look on peoples face all the more worth it
