2003 ford focus 2.3 auto to manual transmission

i recently boosted my 2003 ford focus se 2.3 duratec and sadly i can tell the tranny is on her way out, violent shifts random 0/d light blinking. So i was wondering, could i do a transmission swap from an svt focus, or what kind of transmission could i use?

i kinda like the mtx-75 transmission better than the Getrag, more parts available and cheaper. And anything can be swapped with a little time and patience, just find a donor car at your local bone yard and grab what you need.

A short list would be...

engine and transmission harness, one going up the passenger side in to the inner fender
shifter tower
shift cables
master cylinder
slave cylinder
clutch feed line
the bracket the retains the feed line to the drivers side shock tower
the master cyinder to firewall foam seal
the master cylinder to firewall external plate/boot

that should get yah started.. if yah need help rounding these things up i have most of them, and even some of the part numbers for the seals and brackets at work.

Or you could buy a 5 speed donor car and swap both then sell the donor as an automatic to recoup your costs.

I'm about to do this and my question now is what to upgrade in the MTX? Clutch and flywheel? Anything Else? Which aftermarket clutch and flywheel should I get?
