Question Engine Swap

I am looking to put a high powered engine in my Focus, and I wondering if I'm able to place a V12 engine in ... Any thoughts?

Why struggle with finding a v12? Let alone finding parts for whatever motor you're looking for? It'd be cheaper, easier to maintain and better balanced if you just turbo'd your 2010.. unless you're really just looking to be unique? What exact v12 are you looking at, or did you just hve a random thought? If you really wanted a big motor you'd be better off with one of those v8 conversions I'm guessing. Ask a mod to put this in the motor swap forum.

if you got the time and the money anything is possible, but i would not try fitting a v12 in a focus. the v8 conversion looks tight enough.

Well it has been done before, many don't believe it but the Ferrari Enzo engine (V12) and six speed semi-automatic transmission will bolt direct into where the spare tire goes. You have to remove the spare tire first (LOL!) . You will also have to fold down the seats to accommodate the extra space needed for the engine. You can leave the stock engine in there for cruising so that you get the best gas mileage.

Let me know how it goes, and be sure to post pics!! ;)

Red face

Thanks a lot, everyone. I didn't want to do anything that I would regret. I am looking for some power for my ride and your replies gave me information to make a confident decision. When my 2010 is done, I will post some photos.
Thanks.
