Engine light

Hello guys,
My zx3 has been running better than ever. And the engine light just decides to turn on. While driving I absolutely cannot feel anything wrong or unusual with the car. I checked the oil of the car it was a bit under. Refilling it a bit more didn't fix the problem. Oil is clean and hasn't reached it's servicing stage yet. Can anyone please let me know of what you Might think it can be.
Also I checked for any leaks and havent noticed anything
Thankyou

Go to your local auto parts store they can run a diagnostic for free most of the time and will tell you what error you are getting.
