Thumbs up NEW Mystic Cobra build plans

Well after some serious consideration I wont be doing the 5.4 32v swap in my Mystic Cobra.

For what it would cost just to build the motor and get it in the car making right at 400whp I can rebuild the 4.6 32v.... stick a large Kenne Bell on it, make between 500-600whp and still have money left over. Luckily the valve train upgrade I bought for the 5.4 will alos work on the 4.6

Hopefully by March I'll have a bunch of pics up and I'm going to try to pull the motor out in the next couple of weeks so I can get started on the heads (P&P along with all new Ferra valves, high lift springs, Titanium retainers, ect)

And get the block (Teksid) sent off to be bored out and freshend up!!!

Right now the plans are...

Freshen the Teksid block
Manley Rods
Manley Pisons .030 over flat tops (10.5:1 compression... which will be lower after head work)
"B" series heads full P&P with combustion chamber work (by me) all new Ferra valves, springs, ect
FR500C cams
Forged crank (stock SVT)
New oil pump, water pump ect
Aluminum flywheel
Long tube headers
Kenne Bell SC... with the upgraded 2.8H "Mammoth" blower
Custom air to air intercooler (all ready working on prototype)
Custom tune by me

and of course I'll go through the tranny, new clutch, ect while its out.

Thats the starter list.... I'm sure it's gonna grow over the next few weeks.

Yes Nicks "should" be faster but I'm looking for big bottom end, tire smoking on demand power.

I thought about putting twins on it... and I may be persuaded to do it.

twins are definetely the way to go, If I kept my shelby, it'd have TT's on it, making stupid top end

but nothing beats that twin screw whine

john i would be terribly upset if it mad a bunch of power.. especially if it was like 800-900whp.. id be so mad it would scare you.. if it ran like 9s in the 1/4 id be furious..... but then id have to get over and deal with it...... because theres no reason and staying mad at spilt milk..
