so... heres the symptoms... when my wheels are pointing straight i can move forward in every gear and reverse just as any other focus. but then... when i and in motion and have it in gear and take a turn... it jerks the car VERY violently. not like a CV axle pop. also.... the more the wheel is turned the louded and more violent it gets. so..... i HAD to get home and i found out that while driving ... if i engage the clutch with the wheel straight..... make a turn..... and keep the clutch pedal in until the wheel was straight again the problem just disappeared. so..... to my knowledge it seems the problem is only when the two front wheels are spinning at different speeds.... therefore i believe it to be the differential.
TO SUM IT ALL UP.... when the wheels rotate at different speeds..... very violent jerking that gets worse with the wheel turned more toward full lock. not like a cv pop.
im prepared to swap a used trans in. the only issue is weather its the prob or not.... im pretty sure it is but i just want to make sure.
