after market tranny mount bracket.

do they make an aftermarket mtx tranny mount bracket that is stronger than the stock one.. not the dog bone motor mount.. the bracket that goes to that and bolts to the tranny.... i broke mine today and was wondering if they have a stronger one..

yes of course. i had this one and it worked great. i had all three and really wouldnt have the stock mounts after using these.

Nope.. read it...lol... im talking about the bracket that holds the dog bone mount.. not the mount its self.. the one that has the 3 bolts on the back side of the tranny that the dog bone goes into...

The one your talking about is made out of cast steal. ytake your off and give it to a fabricator and he should have no problem making you one out of Stainless

you think that would be better? and i know that the normal traction bars for our cars will not fit on my car due to my down pipe.. its in the way.. i was thinking of putting on the ingalls.. what other things could i do to make the wheel hop much less to prevent from breakage again.. i have all steeda mounts.. im thinking of making a solid dog bone mount my dogbone mounts keep messing up the bushings really fast... ive gone through 2 within a couple of years.. what are the thoughts?

Solid a-arm bushings will stop the wheel hop. Basically anything that prevents a-arm movement. I cam make you a stronger tranny mount. PM me if you are serious.

i am fabricating another mount bracket that hits more points on the tranny/engine flange so it has more points of stress contact to distribute the stress to more points.. hopefully preventing damage to either the tranny or the tranny mount..

+1 for control arm bushings. I just installed the Prothane ones from CFM and it stiffens up the ride really nicely. The bushings are only $40, take 4 to 5 hours to install (not fun, but worth it) and helped with traction as well as cut down on wheel hop. For the install you need 18mm socket, a good drill with a 1/4" bit, and all the other normal hand tools...oh and good lube like Liquid Wrench.
