Unhappy transmission problem

well my 2005 zx3 se automatic got transmission problem. I bough a used transmission and now i need installation instruction on how to do this....i will appreciated if someone helps me....thanks...

get a haynes manual that is your best bet make sure you have help it makes it easier

X2 on the manual, and a helper.

Photograph everything before, and during the swap. Label everything too, wires, vacuum lines, etc... Bag the bolts, and label each bag with where they go. It may take longer, but it will be easier in the long run.

What's wrong with the trans? CEL?



Badass3, did you get your trans, and head apart? Sorry I haven't gotten a pic yet. It's been snowing, or raining every weekend.

thanks...the transmission gave up on me like 3 weeks ago...it doesnt want to go into gear

You can't shift it into gear? Did you try a lower gear? Any CELs?

check fulid on the current tranny? I only ask because I ahd a friend do that one time.

x3 on the Chiltons manual and labeling. I like to use masking tape to hold all the bolts in place once I take something out. That way when you go to put a bracket back on the three bolts that go on it, are with it and in the right spots.
