HERES MINE 2.0spi AUTO TO ZETEC manual engine

my question is i have a 03 focus with sohc auto
I am putting a 00 focus engine that had a maunal hooked to it and gonna try to mount my auto to the manual zetec motor
now will this work because i just found out the flexplate bolts on my spi auto are smaller than the zetec manual bolts and is it a easly flexplate swap or what please help MAtt

My understanding is the Zetec and SPI use the same auto trannys. So you should be fine.

okay

think i just should bore the holes out on the flexplate to accomadate the size of the zetec motors flywheels bolts? or look for the correct flexplate with proper size

you should be able to just swap the spi flex to the zetec and bolt up the trannys. use the bolts from the spi

I do think you would need the automatic crank angle sensor, since the zetec is from a manual.
