you could use the v8 kit and just fab some motor mounts to fit for a 2.3 turbo out of a mustang svo or tbird turbocoupe, or get the bellhousing to bolt a t5 to the zetec i forgot the company that makes it but i believe theres a thread somewhere on here about a t5 and a zetec for a kit car or something of that sort

quad4rods.com is the site you are talking about with the bellhousing to adapt a t5 to the zetec all engine mounts and trans mounts would have to be custom made but you could use the rear section out of a v8 swap as far as axle and suspension.

The remaining parts for a full conversion are in the works. We are currently supplying bellhousings for those looking to start a DIY project, whether it be RWD or a mid-engined concept.

Next to come will be motor mounting solutions and then method of power delivery.

I was hoping an SVO/Thundercoupe or a 2.3L Ranger would allow a close adaptation of the 2.0/2.3 Duratec for RWD w/o a whole bunch of modification.

No idea as of yet. Doing this as a concept to begin with. There seems to be a significant amount of interest, so following up with a proof of concept and then we'll see what we can do. As we get further along with the concept we'll make the supporting parts available.

Both of those could be accomplished, but in both cases you need donor vehicles, our idea is to make this an easy bolt together system. Time will tell!
