The internals are different on the SVT engine, The blocks have oil squirters, The Blocks from the ZX2 zetec and the focus zetec would bolt in and you could use the head you have, (ZX2 has a different windage tray, mounts, accessory drives etc), You could rebuild that one or search www.car-part.com for a used engine, SVT is VIN code 5 for the engine.

First off, did you mean 2002 SVT? They weren't made in 2001. If you actually have an SVT head, it will bolt to a Zetec block. I wouldn't recommend it as the compression will be lower (less power) and the internals weaker. You cannot swap SVT cams into a Zetec head. I recommend finding a used SVT motor.

You are an idiot. I can't believe you would send that in a PM. *There are no 2001 SVTs*. A production date of August 2001 means that it is 2002 model year!!!

And you think that SVT cams fit in a Zetec head? Go ahead and try and then fail. If you go to CFM.com, tell me why their Zetec heads say *excluding SVT*...because SVT heads are different!!!

The illiteracy is what really aggravates me. I can't even sort through it to find the real meaning of this thread.
