v8 focus

i am planning on doing a swap to a v8 but i need to know if any of you guys can help me with a price please i plan on doing this before this time next year

or any info on what would be a good engine im thinking of a 5.0
i know it would be alot of work but i need to know what would be the best way to go
and i dont want to use that money for another car my car is paid off and why take a payment on a new car
i want my car to be a really good sleeper im going to try to keep the car looking stock

please help with a price or info no b/s please if your in the TX area Round Rock or Austin please give me info

A 5.0 would be a good motor. There are a few 351w motors in foci out there.
From what I have heard it isn't that bad of a swap to do. Most any motor you want can be put in. I think there is a guy around here putting a Turbo 400+ci GM V8 in a Focus.

Anything is possible.

I haven't seen any sleeper v8 Foci, I think that would be amazing to hide the beast. Good luck, and keep us informed on the project!

I was browsing youtube videos the other day and there is a green ZX3 with a Windsor bored out to 408. What was interesting was the guy who posted the video mentioned that the car belonged to a member here at one time but got sold or traded for a 670 HP Mustang. Does that ring a bell for anybody? I'm curious who that was and if it's true. I would think the weight difference between a 4.6, 5.0 or 5.8 would be negligible. I had a Mustang with a Windsor and loved that engine, so much torque. And 12 MPG lol.

there is also a guy here in az that is selling a v8 focus all it needs, i think is the trany and engine but the kit is installed in a 4 door focus
