will the 05 ATX fit into an 01 ATX

Simple question,

will an 05 ATX tranny swap into an 01 that had an ATX?

I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Hmm well Im gonna guess that it wont because the 01 is a zetec and the 05 is a duratec, but that could be fixed with a bell housing. I havent seen you around much.

same reason no ones running a svt 6 speed on their duratec- the bolt patterns are different. the internals might be the same but the case wont line up
