Unhappy ATX to MTX no start

Ive been doing the atx to mtx swap(thanks to everyone that made those posts would have not been able to do it without!!) and got everything together and cranked it over and that's all it did was crank no start. The check engine light does not turn off while cranking, i heard this indicates a problem with the crank sensor?

crank sensor is always the best place to start after all the usual culprits.

I think we just swapped the sensor itself. The crank sensor mounts are different between the atx and mtx?

Yes you need the mount.

The screw for it is torx and it is behind the flywheel. Have fun pulling the trans again

nope it puts the sensor closer to the flywheel and at a slightly different radius.

It happens. At least the mtx is easier to pull & re-install.
