i have several friends with these cars and cant imagine the motor in a car that weights 500 pounds less... i would say your best bet would be to find a whole car thats wrecked or something... take all you need and the brakes and whole suspension while your at it. im waiting for my closest friend with one to get his springs for it because im gonna try and put his stock spring / strut assembly on my car. everything looks more/less exact on the suspensionthat i have noticed so far, besides the rear swaybar endlink set up

You'd have to get both cars side by side and start to digress the situation. Engine mounts may be similar but not exact, and I believe the 3 is wider than the focus. Plus, the wiring will have to be made to work with the focus lights, buy all new autometer gages, plus making the wiring harness fit (shouldn't be too hard, the focus is smaller). Lots of work and time, hope you have a DD.

but in the end all that work would be worth it because there is so much potential from that engine, what about the transmission thou thats my real problem

i do know that the lower tranny mount is slightly different. nearly the same size but the bolts go through the mount the other way, meaning the subframe is different? i may have made it sound a little more easy then it really would be. but yeah hope you would have another car to drive. would be a sick car when it would be finished. i really don't know what to tell you about the transmission. maybe you could use the stock mtx-75 where you would still have two of the stock mounts being the same? with a modified bellhousing of some sort if needed? but the the clutch and flywheel i dont know.

o yeah i deff have another car to drive to do this, i think would end up using the speed 3 trans just because of the flywheel and clutch deal, i would try to get the newer trans from the 2010 because it has the diff gearing

yeah the 2010 ms3 has a different gearing. but i was thinking about this randomly the other day... if it a 2.3 a regular aftermarket aluminum flywheel / clutch combo for a regular 2.3 focus should work, where you can still use a mtx-75?
