Brainstorming (Duratec 2.3 to Miata 6spd)

I know I made a thread a little ways down about a T-9. Well, I discovered that the 2006+ 6spd tranny from a Miata fits and said what the hell. I've searched to the ends of the earth for the information I'm looking for, but nothing really definitive.

So: I'm have a 2.3L Duratec. The Miata is 2.0. The transmission bolts right up from what I've heard from many sources. My question is this: How am I going to deal with the clutch/flywheel? I've heard the 2.0/2.3 flywheels are different, so I would assume the clutches are different as well. If the 2.0 is different from the 2.3 , then I can't use the clutch/flywheel from a Miata 2.0. That leaves the Ranger or Focus clutch/flywheel. I really don't know enough about the differences between those, and if they would even fit the Miata transmission. I would assume the starters bolt right up, but that's not as big of an issue for me.

Really, any insight would be helpful. I'm at my wit's end trying to get this thing together.

Thanks.

It depends on:

1. What diameter clutch and flywheel the bell housing fits
2. Spline number the input shaft for the 2.3 has and what the transmission has.

I know. I was hoping somebody has some experience with either of these or had dimensions readily available. This isn't that common though, so I'll take what I can get.

Trial and error is expensive.
