Duratec Auto to T-9

Hey,

I'm mating a t-9 manual trans to a Duratec 2.3 for a little project of mine, and I'm not really all that familiar with these engines. Are there any major differences in the wiring harness between the auto and manual? I know I'll need a new starter, but are there any other parts off the manual engine I would need? I'm thinking that because it's a completely different transmission, it wouldn't really matter where I start, but I wanted a second opinion before I go balls deep with the wrong equipment.

Thanks.

I was considering the same thing for my 08. After looking into it, most people said just trade in your auto for a manual. Too many parts to switch. I will probably just get a new automatic from lentech. Lentech makes an ATX for the focus that can handle 500hp.

But if you wanna look into it, try the search button on here, or on focaljet. I know there was a couple right ups about it including one with a full parts list.

I'm not talking about a standard auto to manual swap. I'm put in the engine in a RWD kit car, but I suppose it's not THAT different.
