i kno i was talking about going SHO....

i was talking about putting a SHO engine in my car, the someone pointed out itll be harder to register unless the engine that goes in is a same year or newer.

Does anyone kno if the V6 from the Mazda6 would bolt in like the cougar engine? or would the mounts have to change.

from what i have read on the cougar forums alot of the mazda 6 v6 stuff will swap over. did the make an 05 ford taurus tho? if so that would fit. they swap the 3l out of those right into the cougars.

idk about the fusion. but u can use the d30 from a taurus and use the mtx75 out of a cuogar or contour. they bolt right up. look into the cougar/coutour 3l swaps.

NO. The SHO died off 99. Now it's FINALLY back for 2010. And only the 96-99 came with ONLY ATX options.

btw, IIRC, the mazda and fusion engine are either/both VVT or VCT (I dont remember, but all I know is that the ECU may not work. though as far as I know it hasn't been done)

yes the sctcontour trans would bolt up to a d30. and as far as performance mods for the dura v6's i'm slowly starting to find more and more. alot of guys just swap svt cams and intakes to there non svt motors. but since u would already have all of that just headers intake and boost would do thetrick. theres a few company's with a turbo set up and one super charger set up for them that i have found.
