subframe removal to take out mtx75?

do I need to remove the sub frame for my mtx75 to come out? I own a 2000 ford focus zx3 zetec

need to know asap please! car is in mechanic and he is trying to charge more

how should it come out?

yeah thought so...

how exactly is that done? do one of the mounts need to be taken out in order for the whole engine/transmission to be moved so it can come out?

i left my motor in. i just loosened the tranny bolts and the two tranny mounts and it came right out the bottom

well at the end they did take out the subframe but charged the same so I'm good! lol

im in the middle of a torsen install, and i can see why some people recomend removing the subframe, the tranny gets hung up on it a lot when trying to lower it.

i left my subframe on btw.
