Engine swap and performance

i was wondering if anyone has done the dura 2.0 to dura 2.3 swap? also what is the most horse power someone has gotten out 2.3 withouth any boost?

For one, there is an engine and transmission swap board a little ways down from here, so don't be surprised if this gets moved.

For two, yes several people have done it. I would say from what I've gathered that it's cost ineffective unless you're planning on some serious mods to make use of that extra .3 liters of displacement. (boost, hint hint).

If you install it yourself, you're looking at at least a grand of cash and several labor hours for 18hp and 15tq... you can get that out of basic bolt-ons on a Duratec, with far less time on the install.

Swap2.0 to 2.3 - What do I need to know?

and to get that 18whp from a 2.0 itll cost you a grand anyway lol. if just under 140whp is you goal thats fine but the extra displacement and the better head are very worth it. got an eye out for a cheap 2.3 to build
