im going to assume you need a clutch for an SVT. honestly that kit is way over priced. i believe most of the people on here who know anything will agree with me in saying exedy makes the best aftermarket company OEM/stage1 clutch kit for our cars. i had one for nearly 75k miles and i wasnt gentle. swapped it recently for a 6 puck and it still looked great when i took it out. it will be cheaper than the clutch kit in that link as well. and no you dont have to have a special flywheel to mate to exedy clutches on standard zetec/mtx-75 equipped foci but unfortunately for you with the svt getrag you will need a flywheel with the exedy clutch if you choose to go that route. here's a link to a good buy on a clutch and flywheel kit for you by exedy http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/EXEDY...Q5fAccessories

however if you decide to go with a standard factory clutch i always suggest getting one of these when pulling a transmission for any reason unless you already have one. fidanza flywheels are freaking awesome. imo everyone should have one, it makes a HUGE improvement in throttle response, the revs climp so much faster, and it frees up a little power that gets lost between the crank and the wheels because it weighs ALOT less than factory. this is a smoking deal in this link so i suggest you snag it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FIDAN...1%7C240%3A1318

completely up to you. ebay is a great tool for tracking down things for cheap but there isnt much variety for the svt unfortunately and during my brief ownership of mine i never learned much about the compatability of clutches and flywheels with them. my suggestion is to check out some of the sites like massive speed for example to track down a clutch kit to suit what you want to do with your car.

i have the cm stg 3 with their flywheel. it grabs hard and i got it for $879 shipped. its a little noisy but i can handle that for the gains. their stage 1 is $799 shipped and their kits come with a slave cylinder, clutch kit, and flywheel for that price

I'm replacing the clutch in my brothers SVT Focus next week, so I'm dealing with the same hassle right now. From what I've learned from the dealership and the forums, there's a TSB (#04-21-19) on the stock cluch/flywheel. The bulletin requires replacing the clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, and slave cylinder all together. Luk manufactures the OEM SVT clutch and #07-175 that you already found is the OEM clutch kit used for the TSB. Dual mass flywheels supposedly cannot be resurfaced, one way or the other. The new disc and flywheel that are part of the Luk kit are up from the original 9" to 9 7/16" or something like that.

The cheapest place I found for the Luk kit was from gripforce.com, the same place as in the Exedy ebay link above, for $415. I called them about an hour ago, so I know they have the kit in stock. Search ebay for "luk svt" and their stuff should come up.

This place has the kit for the same price:

http://templates.earthstores.com/907...65&prod=425633

Now that I know Exedy has and OEM replacement clutch (thanks focusmaniaczx3), it may be worth it to spend the extra $85 and get that kit instead of the Luk kit.

If you already have the Fidanza flywheel, just get a new friction disc (or whatever you call it) for it and replace the clutch and pressure plate with whatever you want that fits the flywheel. I think the friction discs by themselves are around $40. Or, I'll be happy to take that Fidanza flywheel off your hands, haha.
