Looking for instructions for pulling and replacing engine

I have an 04 Focus with a 2.0 sohc engine. I have a motor puller. I do not have a lift for the car, so dropping it out the bottom isn't an option. Does anyone have a complete list of instructions for pulling the motor and replacing it from the top? I've done searches on the forum, but I like I'm using the wrong key words or something. No, I don't want to take it to a mechanic.

By the way, don't take the risk, replace your timing belt when the manufacter suggests. When they say zero tolerance, they mean zero.

i seen a hayse(?)hayes(?) focus book at the auto parts store it had from complete swaping instructions...... but really if you swapping the same motors and tran's then it shouldnt be to hard...

1. take the hood off
2. disconnect the battery and remove the box and intake/box
3. start disconnecting wires (label the with tape) and gas ped cable &gas lines
4.drain coolant/trannie fluid/power steering fluid.
5.remove fans/radiator and res./power steering res..
6.jack her up... set her down on jackstands...
7. disconnect the exhaust/ shiftlinkage/and bottom mottor mount (while your already under the car) and theres 2 water lines for your heater core..there on the fire wall covered with silver wrap...
8.take tires off.. have som1 press the breakes real hard and break the axle nuts loose.. take off steering rods from hub.. disconnect the bal joints. and remove axles...(passienger side has 2 nuts on the bearing on the axle that needa be loosened)
9. get everythgin outa your war thats mounted ontop of the firewall/
10.unbolt the header (will make it a lil easy'r to get out..
11. connect the engine puller
12.unbolt the last 2 motor mounts
13.lift motor out set down.
14.get other motor
15. prep for install (take header off) get everythgin under control)
16.pick up other motor and start the list backwards.lol

i mean i dont kno what you kno about cars or your mechanic skills.. but thats just a basic of it.. it will give you hell along the way at one point or another

Ive done a SPI to Zetec swap, and you cant take it out the top unless you undo the transmission from the engine to pull it out. Its a lot easier to drop it through the bottom.
