yes and no. u can get straight cut dog engagment gears for the mtx but it wont be a sequential shift pattern like that was. also it is not streetable at all. on the street u would probably fry that tranny in a few miles.
the mtx is plenty shrong enough for what ever u want to throw at it.
oh and the whine it makes in from the straight cut gears vs helicle gears. thats why alot of cars make that sound in reverse because most reverse gears r straight cut.

They made those in the 60's. They called them the "rock crushers" because it sounded like you were crushing rocks in your tranny lol.
