This should go in the engine swap section. But to answer your question it's been stated that it's probably cheaper to sell your car and buy another focus with a duratec already in it.

no way...

engine: 500$
harnesses: 250$ish
p/s engine mount under100$ used
computer: ??$$ probably good prices used.

i couldnt really see going over 1500$ doing everything correctly.

dont be afraid to try something. people spend over 5k$ turboing a duratec focus. when you could take that 5k, use it as a down payment and get a mustang GT, and get more power as a base than a turbo'd duratec focus would be.

its all waht you want, and if you wnat to have the drive to do it.

Do it yourself. Its not that hard people are stuffing 6k k24 motors in 3k civics. I'm tired of people saying buy a new car instead of an engine swap. Its not rocket science to swap a motor
