08 Auto to Manual Swap

I've got a 08 focus and unfortunately it has an auto tranny. I can buy a used manual for just over 300 bucks. I was wondering if anyone knows what else I will need to do to switch it over. What other parts will I need and how much will they cost. How will the stock computer handle the swap.

Thank you for your help!

I could do it but you are way far away. I have done 6 of them. I would assume that they arent different than a standard focus. I could assist you in the swap if needed.

Awesome. At least I can ask you a couple questions. I can do it myself with the help of my dad and grandfather who are great mechanics. How much will it run me for parts without labor?

I was only considering this as an option because next year I'm going to turbo it. And didn't think a auto tranny would handle it. I was planning on just running the auto till it gives. I'll only be pushing 9lbs of boost. After a year on that I plan on rebuilding engine with forged rods and cranks for higher boost. Lentec sells auto trans rated for 350 hp and then one for way higher. Would it be more cost effective just to do that instead?
