Yet Another Torsen Differential Question.

Ok, so i decided to buy and install the Torsen Differential from Ford Racing and install in my mtx75.

Well doing some research on these forums I saw that someone recommended the following also:
F7RZ-4221-AC -- 2 differential bearings
F5RZ-1S177-AA -- or, BRS46 -- 2 axle seals
YS4Z-17285-AA -- 1 vehicle speed sensor gear

Question is do i need that stuff? My 05 only has 19k miles on it.

I'm asking because I would hate to have the tranny out and find out i need more parts.
I would like to know everything I might need to complete this install in one day. I will be installing an Exedy stage 2 Clutch and Flywheel, and want to install the torsen at the same time since the tranny will be out.

thanks in advance.

now, did you do the install by yourself, or did you take it to a shop.
If you took it to a shop, did they charge you for any materials, or just labor, OR did you buy the part from the shop and they installed/or you brought the part to them?

Talking

this thread is null and void now.
I decided to buy the Quaife Diff from Massive Speed.
I couldn't resist the price.
!!!Quaife Mega Deal - $635 For MTX-75 Diff!!!

And fyi:
It's recommend that I buy 2 differential bearings and 1 vehicle speed sensor gear, nothing more. He said that I might have problems getting the old bearings off and might destory them.

Anyways thanks from the input.

Waste of money now that the t2 is out the t2 will do the same job and leave you a good bit of change to buy other parts for your car

tom, thanks for your 2 cents...
the cost difference is a irrelevent, cheapest T i found was around $530 ($100 more on ebay even), and this Q cost me $635... $105 cost difference is nothing (ok maybe 1 lightweight wheel), but you can just say, I guess I just bought a Warranty for $105.

Yes, the Torsen is a T-2 type diff, pretty much acts the same as the Quaife...
As i stated above the selling factor for the Quaife was the lifetime warranty, even when car is raced, $105 is a small price to pay for piece-of-mind IMHO.

doesnt the warranty only cover a new diff? so basically you blow up the quaife and it takes ur tranny with it. u call quaife and they send you a new diff but you still have to pay for a new tranny and labor?
