Problem maybe? I dont know!

So the other day i was in a drivethrough and i heard this knocking sound coming from my car and wondered what it could be. I closed my eyes and cringed as i pushed the clutch pedal down hoping it WOULNT go away but it did, lol. From what i researched on here its my throw out bearing, so i think! This was the first time i had this sould and then bam it goes away. Its been 3 days and i havent heard or had any problems since. Does it sould like it needs to be replaced? or was it just random and everythings ok, maybe its something else? If it is the throw out bearing how long can i daily drive it without breaking the tranny?

my throwout bearing has been houling since last summer and haven't had any sort of problem other than it being really annoying, i didn't replace it when i put the transmission in my car the first time and didn't have any problem. then when i put the new motor in i figured it would be ok but i guess i got some clutch dust in it and it has howled since :) thats my.02 cents
