help my car is crapping out

so i drive a 03 zx3. I was going to head to seattle yesterday but I go about 20 miles and this warning light turned on. I was like wow thats new and so I pulled over and opened the hood and this huge wave a heat came out. I let it cool down and drove it back home. but was weird was when i was driving i was going 50 and the rpm were around 4k not even resting and it wouldnt shirt over 3rd gear. now that its all cooled down it works fine but it heats up real quick in about a block the temp gauge will be half way

whats the problem

I dono but i have that same light on start up randomly on my SVT. Its a automatic transaxle/cooling system light. I believe thats what it says in the book.

When i start mine and it does this i get a grinding noise from what seems to be right behind my dash gauges.

So im asking the same question you are....Whats goin on here?

I checked my fluids and my tranny fluid is burnt I don't know why but I'm getting it flushed along with the cooler fluid and my oil. I had my oil changed 3 weeks ago and its down a quart and its burnt like a mofo. Weird shit but I will fluid them all and hiope the problem is fixed.

on another note my power steering fluid is low and i'm not quite sure why. I'm gonna add more but it shouldn't be as low as it is.

i got all the fluids flushed and it runs like a new car... my secondary fan comes on tho and I dunno why someone said it would be my exhaust since i have MBRP it could be why my check engine light is on and why the fan comes on ALL THE FRIGGIN' TIME! Makes me sound like a air plane its annoying and a bit emberresing
