A swap of a different kind, Zetec in Honda Accord

Long story short I came up with this crazy idea to put a FORD Zetec engine and getrag trans in my 91 HONDA accord. The reason? I love the Zetec engine (its been in the last 2 cars Iíve owned) and I love being unique. I know a guy who is a mechanic and welder who said he can weld me up some solid motor mounts pretty cheap, so the mounts arenít looking like TOO big of a concern. The most difficult and expensive part are probably going to be the custom axles.

So, what do you guys thank, am I nutz?

No joke, you should have seen some of the responses when I posted this on a Honda forum I guess some of them had gotten spanked by four cylinder fords, which is why they hate them so much

I have a chance on a good deal on a Zetec from a contour. Are there any difference between the focus Zetec and the contour’s Zetec? I know they both use the MTX-75, so the getrag should bolt right up, or I’m I way off?

The contour's block is the same and yes it does mate w/ the mtx-75, but the head is different, I would stick w/ the newer zetecs as there are more parts readliy avalible for them!!
