Cool Tranny is going, need advice

Hi all, like the title says, tranny is starting to go. Got almost 106000km and the thing is wandering back and forth from 3rd to 4th, it revs high and shifts late. I've been looking at Lentech to get something a bit more sturdy, not that I make a lot of hp (stock engine) but it can't hurt to get something better build. What's your advice in this, really appreciate all the input while it's still working.
Thnxs in advance, Paul.

Just a question here, does it make more sense to get a tranny from a junk yard if you are keeping your car mostly stock ?? Save yourself some money IMHO.

Well even if your going to mod your car getting it from a junk yard would help out no matter what. Most of the time the trannys are perfectly fine and just need a little lovin to get back into working order.. maybe new innards but thats probably it.

Basically speaking, it would be the valve body (or how do you call that thing) that 's going out, right?. Since the tranny looks good, would it be much of a pita to just change that valve thing or replace tranny all together. I don't have a garage to do this myself so I'm stuck getting this done by some mechanic. Question is how much they will charge and is it worth just changing that valvebody since the whole thing has to come out.
What are your opinions guys/galls ???

Check out the Lentech site, the autotragic has a valvebody in there to shift.
Hope the link works:

FYI when it starts going into 4th let off the gas so it can click into 4th gear b/c my tranny is doing the same thing if you dont your burning up the Clutch packs. buy the lintech b/c if you take it to anyother tranny shop local they are going to charge you the samething for OEM part then in the future it will go out again.
