SHOcus

I've heard stories from a lot of people about the focus that had the V-6 from the old SHO Tarus dropped in the back to be a mid-engine rear driver. Anybody else ever heard that and/or have pics/links to see this thing?

I haven't been able to find pics of it online (which is odd), but I know it was in one of the Focus Fanatic magazines. You can't miss it; its yellow and purple, with a huge inverse hood.

I never heard of them putting one in the REAR but the guy from focus salvage or svt salvage shoehorned one into the engine bay of a yellow focus. They had to notch the frame to fit it in.

No, he is thinking of someone's project car called SHOcus, made in the spirit of the SHOgun.

And don't get it confused with Ians SHO FWD focus on modifiedfocus.com. Completely different car.

Basically, yes, one person made a rear engine, RWD Focus with a SHO engine. It was in Focus Fanatic magazine, which was discontinued a year or two ago, and back issues aren't being done to my knowledge.

If I have time, I'll see if I can get some pictures from it when I get home.
