SPI Auto to Zetec 5speed to start soon

My brother just bought a '00 Focus SE with a bad SPI. Those used SPI's are expensive as hell. I found a smashed '02 for a donor with a Zetec 5 Speed. Is there anything I should look out for while doing the swap? I have read some articles on it, but none of them get very specific. I am a mechanic for a living, and have all tools needed and a hoist available to me, so none of that is an issue.

I <3 Bewst!
