where oh where did you get a flywheel, clutch, AND a torsen for 1000 bucks?

and where oh where would you find all those other parts for 600 bucks??

I was gonna buy a donor car but if you can help me find everything (including fly, clutch, LSD) for 1500 then forget it lol

and if its a simple answer like "call Karl" then that will do just fine

Believe it or not, I found a brand new trans for 250 shipped. The other parts, I found off the old eBay from auto-by-dan (IIRC) for around 150 or so. I had to buy some parts from Hilbish Ford (mike). The other stuff, I found from here and there, to find the best price. That was before I knew Karl that well, so I would go to him for the fly, etc. now.

It's been a little while and I don't remember how much some of the parts cost. However, I don't remember griping about it, so it couldn't have been too bad LOL. I found some sick deals at the time.

alright, 2 things

#1 I agree with your comment on axles, I looked at 3 different parts stores and the AT and MT axles have the same part numbers on both sides

#2 Why are you the first person ever to mention changing the carrier bearing mount (you call it "axle mount")? Does the axle really not line up with the mtx75 diff?

I was told by two different sources that the carrier bearing mount was slightly different. That part was about $15 used so I figured better safe than sorry.

oh hey i just remembered this and noone can explain it...

you know how companies sell different throttle / cruise cable plates for the 65mm throttles? well, did you / should you run into problems with either the cables not reaching the throttle with the trans in the way, or the cables not being long enough or being too long for the pedals? or something? know what i mean?
