SPI ATX to MTX

Is it possible, taking out labor how much would it cost, where should i get the parts, help me get started here, its my dream to have a mtx, and i dont really have the money for an engine swap, but i planned on turboing down the road and wanted a mtx for that...

What do ya think?

i dont really know too much about spi atx, but i do know that if your going to convert yours to mtx is not going to be that easy and cheap, theres alot of little things that go along with this swap, trust me i would know, im doing the same thing that you want to do right now. lol, but im doing a whole svt conversion. good luck man!

yeah dont waste your time or money on converting your atx spi to a mtx... with all of the time and money spent on that might as well go SVT if you know what i mean? My dream is to one day own a SVT sedan

the spi uses a ib5 tranny, its a ok tranny, but its really a pain to do a swap, i was considering this as well, and looking into costs and such, figured it be 1500-2k in parts and id do all the labor and itd take prolly a few weekends to do, so i just got a 07 focus for a damn good deal and the dura is pretty nice mated withthe mtx75
