Are you going to do the RWD swap too? im assuming your talking about mustang V8s? the 4.6 would be the easiest and cheapest to attain, if that would be your main concern. I would personally go with the 5.0 and do a twin turbo setup, talk about a sleeper..

The 5.0 would give you the most room in the engine bay. The 4.6 take up the whole engine bay. There would be more even problems with the 5.4
The easiest swap would be the 5.0 You would might want to get an older car.

Go with the 5.0, bolt on a supercharger and have it hanging out of your hood if there is no room. That will be plenty of power on a focus.

there would be no reason to go TT, you wouldnt even be able to put the power down.

Even with an upgraded transmission and rear drive swap and wider rubber?

The 5.4 is nothing more than a tall deck 4.6.... they have almost identical measurements.

I would go 5.0 or even a Carborated 302... just for the sheer amount of aftermarket support... and ease of installation.

I hope you have a bunch of time and really DEEP pockets... you're looking at around 7-10k by the time you're done with everything.
